IMPORTANT:  We make every effort to describe the condition of each lot fairly and conscientiously, however, we recommend that prospective bidders examine lots in which they are interested in person.  Our liability in respect of descriptions is limited please refer to the Conditions at the back of the sale catalogue.  Specific reports as to the physical condition of any lot are provided as a courtesy on request, but must always be treated with caution as we accept no responsibility for any errors or omissions with particular regard to matters such as damage, repairs and/or restorations.  You should not rely on a Condition Report when making a bid.  Any statement made is an expression of our opinion and any buyer placing a bid acknowledges that they have satisfied themselves fully by inspection or otherwise as to the condition of the lot.

Digital Images:  Please request digital images by email to enquiries@mellorsandkirk.com   We regret that requests for digital images made after 4.00pm on Tuesday 29th May cannot be guaranteed.

 

Commission Bids:  Please send commission bids to bids@mellorsandkirk.com as early as possible and no later than 4.00pm on the preceding day.  Bids received on the day of sale cannot be guaranteed.

 

Telephone Bidding (Fine Art Sales Only):  Telephone bidding may be available on lots with a low estimate of £500 to those who apply by email no later than 4.00pm on Tuesday 29th May giving full details.

 

 

Buyer's Premium:  Buyers are charged a premium of 17.5% plus VAT in addition to the final bid or hammer price.

 

Packing & Despatch:  Since we do not offer these services buyers are respectfully asked to make their own arrangements.
